"Harry Potter" actor Daniel Radcliffe has confirmed rumors he has a secret girlfriend and admits they are now faced with spending months apart while he stars on Broadway.

Last year the 21-year-old was said to be dating Olive Uniacke, daughter of "Harry Potter" producer David Heyman. Radcliffe refused to confirm the rumors.

The actor also vowed to remain single during his upcoming stint on the New York stage in "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying," but he's now surprised fans by revealing he is in a relationship.
The actor has refused to name his girlfriend, but reveals she is based in England and has been spending a lot of time with him in New York during preparations for the musical. But they will be separated when she starts a new job.

He tells USA Today, "She's here with me as much as she can be. She's about to start a new job in not too long, though, so I won't see her for a few months."

When asked whether the unnamed girl is an actress, he replies, "No! God, no," and insists he is keeping her identity secret "not so much for my sake as for hers."
